About Me

I embarked on my yoga journey 15 years ago, as I yearned to find a way to alleviate acute scoliosis, which I developed during my first pregnancy. Little did I know, I had dipped my toes into a deep ocean of wisdom. The experience was so profound, I continue to swim in this ocean every day.

After years of personal practice and studies, I realized that I wanted to help others discover this knowledge and help them experience the benefits of yoga for themselves. I took my passion to the next level and signed up for a 500 hr course with The British Wheel of Yoga, UK. After almost 4 years of intense and in-depth training, I received my Diploma in Yoga and have been teaching this beautiful science of life ever since, first in the UK and now here in the US.

I follow the traditional teachings of Hatha Yoga. This is yoga in its purest and oldest form and it resonates with my own life experiences and understanding of our world better than anything else. I encourage my students to embrace the journey and self-discovery as opposed to chasing quick results and fixes at all costs.

As an experienced school teacher, I am also very passionate about raising a new generation of mindful, morally sound, loving and responsible human beings. Yoga is a wonderful, well-rounded tool that enables me to target all aspects of a child’s development. Amazingly, children experience yoga quite naturally. In their pure, unspoiled state, they already live and do things the yoga way without even knowing it. Working with children is a two-way exchange - they never seize to amaze me and remind me how to enjoy life.

Whether teaching children or adults, my aim is to leave everyone with a positive, unique experience and a sense of achievement after each lesson.
